Handmade chalice. The set consists of 5 pieces: the Holy Chalice, the Holy Disk, the asterisk, the spear and the tongs. All the ecclesiastical items are designed and manufactured in Greece with respect to the Orthodox tradition and always according to the rules of the Orthodox Church, maintaining high quality.
The Holy Chalice or Grail is the metal vessel with which the sacraments of our church are administered. The Grail symbolizes the Cup of the Last Supper when Jesus Christ also prefigured the sacrament of the Eucharist. In the Grail during the rite of consecration, the minister pours wine with a little water to be consecrated and transubstantiated into the blood of Christ. The Body of Christ is also placed in the Holy Chalice, after consecration, from which the faithful take communion.
