Saint Anne is the mother of the Holy Virgin Mary. She comes from an official lineage of a priestly lineage. She is the daughter of the priest Matthew and his wife Mary.

After nine months Anna gave birth to a cute little girl, whom they named Mary, after the name of her maternal grandmother, her mother’s mother, which means “lady” in Hebrew, and who was destined to become the Lady of the World and of the Angels.
