The icon depicts the Holy Trinity and the Virgin Mary kneeling and is probably a composition of two iconographic themes, the theme of the Holy Trinity and the theme of the Coronation or \u201cApotheosis of the Virgin\u201d, following Western models derived from engravings.<\/p>\n

The picture is divided into two levels. On the upper level, Christ is depicted on the left holding the Cross with both hands. He wears a red tunic and a cyan robe, carries a gold circular halo, while the imprints of the nails can be seen on his feet and hands. <\/p>\n

On the right, the Father is depicted with white hair and beard, wearing a white tunic and a cyan robe, seated, blessing with his right hand and holding a scepter with his left, while he carries a gold triangular halo.<\/p>\n

High up among them is the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove, from which golden rays are emitted, while to the right and left are cherubim.<\/p>\n

The Virgin Mary is depicted in the lower half of the composition, following purely Western standards. She is kneeling to the right with her torso deconstructed frontally, while her arms are crossed over her chest in a posture of supplication. She wears an orange-red mantle with rich folds on the sides, revealing her blue inner dress with golden chevron on the sleeves and neck. <\/p>\n
