The Holy Chalice or Grail is the metal vessel with which the sacraments of our church are administered.

The Grail symbolizes the Sacrament of the Last Supper when Jesus Christ foreshadowed the sacrament of the Eucharist.

At the Grail during the ceremony of the offering, the minister pours wine with a little water to be consecrated and transubstantiated into the blood of Christ.

The Body of Christ is also placed in the Holy Chalice, after consecration, from which the faithful take communion.
