Incense is the end product of the combination of incense, perfume and magnesia.

Frankincense, which is the basis of incense, is the aromatic resin extracted from the incised cuts of the trunk of the tree “livanos”, hence its name.

One of the oldest and most important uses of incense was its use in worship ceremonies and especially in ecclesiastical services, in which incense is a basic element of ritual and worship.
